ELA & Social Studies with Mrs. Cox
We will have our last reading comprehension test and vocabulary test on Monday, May 12. Next week we will begin the book The Power of Wow! We are finishing up our Finance unit, and we will have an in class group project for our assessment. Once a week, during SMART time, two children from our classroom go to the media center with Mrs. Allen. She teaches them some new technology, then they come back and teach it to the class. They are doing a fabulous job!! |
Math and Science with Mrs. Clement
AM and PM CLASS: The catapult projects were GREAT!! All of you worked so hard on them. I was impressed! There will not be a science test before spring break. |

Mrs. Cox email: [email protected] I grew up in Roswell, Georgia with my parents, three sisters, and two brothers. Our crazy family is a legend in our old neighborhood! Each summer we would take a car trip, and ended up visiting 49 of the 50 United States - Even Alaska! Now I just need to make it to Hawaii. I attended the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia. Although I loved both schools, I am mostly a Georgia Bulldog fan! I met my husband there, and we now live in Johns Creek with our two children. Our son Andrew is 14, and our daughter Anslee is 8. In addition to teaching school, my favorite things are doing things with my family, traveling, reading, going to UGA football games, and playing with our dog, Mr. Herschel Walker. I so enjoyed getting to meet you all at Sneak Peek! Meeting my new students is so exciting to me. We start off the beginning of the year getting to know each other, and by the end of the year we feel like one big family. We are going to have the most incredible year!! If you are in my homeroom, please hover over classroom information and then click on Mrs. Cox's homeroom. You will see our specials schedule and other pertinent information. |

Mrs. Clement email: [email protected] Although I was not born in Georgia, I did grow up in Stone Mountain, and consider myself the "Southener" of our family! I have one brother and was fortunate enough to be able to travel when I was growing up. I am a graduate of Furman University with a degree in Sociology. Not wanting to work in research or be a social worker, I decided to go back to school and get my teaching certificate. Once I began teaching, I went to Mercer University to get my Master's Degree in Middle School Mathematics. Two children, and several years later, I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with my specialst degree in Leadership. This year, I am working on getting my Gifted Endorsement. As I mentioned earlier, I have two daughters, Morgan, 14, and Bonnie, 11. We live in Suwanee. I'm really excited about this upcoming year. I look forward to working with you and your child to make this year great! |
